Throughout the centuries a lot of artists have experimented with perspective, depth and other visual effects. One of the most extraordinary is the lenticular effect. This technique shows the viewer a different image, depending on the angle from which he or she looks at the work. This seems like a modern invention, but experiments with this technique started in the 17th century.
