Ukrainian Soviet artist, graphic artist. Member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Evdokia Grigorievna Usikova was born on December 25, 1913 in the village of. Yankovtsy (Kharkov region) . In 1940 he graduated from the Kiev Art Institute, where he studied under A. Shovkunenko. In July 1944 Usikova Ye. G. he debuted at the Exhibition of Works by Artists of the Union Republics, opened in Moscow, at the State Museum of Oriental Cultures. From that time – an active participant in republican, All-Union and foreign art exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. FOR EXAMPLE. Usikova worked in the field of easel painting. Author of thematic paintings, master of still lifes. Main works: “Autumn Bouquet” (1945) ; “The Deputy” (1949) ; “Lesson” “To Ilyich” (1960) “; “The Blue Dream” (1963) , “Kiev Bridges”, “Granddaughters” (1965) and others. He died in 1996. The artist's works are presented in museums, galleries and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
