Ex Rare J. Hoare Cut Glass Ewer Green/Cranberry & Sterling

American Brilliant cut glass ewer by J. Hoare. This extremely rare piece is green over cranberry. It is cut with a cane and swirling pillar design. The top and handle are sterling by Gorham with a date mark of Ca. 1880. The lid is hinged. The wafer foot is cut with a rayed star. This is a dream piece for an advanced collector.
