One of the most popular parts of the 'classic' Top Gear period was the 'Star in a Reasonably Priced Car' and several makes and model were featured in the Clarkson/Hammond/May series, culminating in this 2013 Vauxhall Astra, which was used for three series up to 2015. Over twenty of some of the worlds most famous Celebrities piloted this family model around the Top Gear track including fastest time-posting singer Olly Murs, rock singer Brian Johnson and actor Will Smith. Protecting those famous occupants was a full rollcage (camera mountings still attached), five-point harnesses and Corbeau seats (complete with custom Vauxhall stitching), which are still fitted today. Having covered little track time the Astra is showing a mere 5,600 miles on the odometer. Previously owned by Vauxhall parent General Motors, who loaned the car to Top Gear's production company, it has recently been serviced, is MoT-tested and is said to be in good working condition. A great way to win a slice of Top Gear's 'golden era.'
