Exceedingly Rare Canton Large Size Covered Beafsteak Platter with Hot Water Reservoir, 19th Century, one of three known, the oval form with domed cover decorated with Canton scene within a diapered and rain and cloud border, large lotus bud-form finial; the platter decorated ensuite, the two pierced handles provide access to the reservoir. Note: One of 3 known such dishes to exist.
