Excellent Pair Chinese Qing Porcelain Dishes
Imperial, 18th century. Each having brilliant decoration with floral ground among stones. Marked on the back with imperial double ring mark and characters at center. No restoration or damage detected. Good condition throughout. W6 1/2" W1 3/8" The dishes are sold from the collection of a private Lake Murray, South Carolina family and were owned by their ancestor who was a member of the Red Cross in the early 20th century and spent a great deal of time in China. They were likely a gift. In September of 2020 Wooten & Wooten Sold these dishes to a client in China for $26,000.00 US Dollars. The client was unable to complete payment on the dishes until 2021 therefore due to our terms and condition of sale and in fairness we canceled the sale and the owners elected to offer the dishes in this sale. We are very happy to offer them now to the successful bidder and payment is required within 30 days post sale.
