Exceptional 19th c. French carved oak huntboard

Monumental mid 19th century French oak huntboard, having a molded and relief carved pediment with a ram's head medallion flanked by gryphons, rising on the molded cornice, above a frieze with relief carved rinceaux, surmounting the partially glazed doors opening to two shelves, the doors flanked by demilune shelves with a carved scrollwork backsplash, the whole resting on the lower cabinet comprised of one short drawer above two doors carved with pheasant trophy medallions, centered by curved drawers and doors opening to one shelf, the whole rising on bun feet, 112.5"h x 90.25"w x 26"d.
