Exceptional Bronze Dore Figural Clock in the Rococo Revival Taste

third quarter 19th century, the clock dial and works signed by Raingo Freres, the central portion of the case lushly decorated with cattails and grapes, flanked by Bacchanalian putti lounging on scrollwork, the putto on the left with a kylix and grapes, the one on the right with a fish, the bold base decorated with gadrooning and pierced scrollwork, set with a bas-relief plaque of putti making merry.

Condition Report: **In fine condition. No sign of damage or missing elements. Beautiful casting quality with great detail and two-tone gilding. The movement appears clean and intact. We are uncertain as to its running condition. Pendulum and winding key present.
