This clock showcases a gilt case adorned with an urn atop acanthus leaves, featuring silvered and enamel-plated flowers. It is surrounded by a pierced balustrade and embellished with pagodas at each corner, just below a plinth with four silvered and enamel vases adorned with sprigs of flowers. The main body presents an applied intricate silver openwork in a floral arrangement, framed by beautiful sprigs of flowers and phoenixes executed in enamel, surrounding the clock face. An exceptional bezel is fitted with red paste gems, and the clock stands on a plinth base with acanthus leaf and scroll feet. The rear is set with a glass door frame, and the sides display applied sunburst medallions enclosing pierced silk-backed sound frets, the glass crystal serves as protection for the white porcelain dial, featuring a Roman numeral hours chapter executed in black enamel, gold hands, and a six-note array of chimes played at the hour, quarter, half, and three-quarter marks.
