Walt S. (Walter) Louderback (New York/Illinois/Indiana/New Mexico, 1887-1941) watercolor on paper painting titled "Sportsmen, Paris" depicting several men engaged in various activities, including fishing, by a small body of water in a forest setting with a young boy and dog in the foreground. Signed lower left, "Louderback". Exhibition label for the Art Institute of Chicago 16th International Exhibition of Water Colors - 1937 en verso. Housed and matted under glass in a wooden frame with gilt trim. Sight: 19" H x 25" W. Framed: 28 3/4" H x 34 1/2" W. Provenance: Estate of Carl Klein, Brentwood, TN.
Condition Report: Overall good condition with toning, scattered minute foxing spots. Not examined outside of frame.
