Extremely Rare Canton Fish Basin, late 18th / early 19th Century, interior painted with hills and stream landscape design encircled by multiple borders, with rain and cloud diapered and triangular decoration to wide rim, drainage hole to side; the exterior with four floral vignettes interrupted by a molded center band with contemporary x-form wood stand. Accompanied with an over-hanging glass top. Expert joined repair.
