A late 19th century German wag on the wall clock by Friedrich Mauthe, Schwenningen. 8-day time and strike movement with a two-part dial, Arabic numerals and matching pendulum. Walnut case with shaped crest and turned finials over a dial door with circular glass and turned pilasters and a shaped lower drop with turned gallery and lower glass door. Original finish with some wear, running when cataloged. 44 1/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $300-400
