The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The chronograph function is working properly. The watch no signs of wear. Otherwise it is in like new condition.

Catalogue Note:
Mechanical watches and race cars have a long history together. In 2006, François-Paul Journe and Jean Todt discussed how the mechanical watch industry was behind in timing extreme speed of racing, which led to the development of the Centigraphe, capable of timing speeds up to 36,000 km per hour. The Centigraphe Souverain won the prestigious 'L'Aiguille d'Or' award in 2008 and was produced in limited quantities, offered in rose gold or platinum. The Black Label Centigraphe Souverain was an exclusive edition, produced from 2010 to 2017 and only available for purchase by collectors who already owns an F. P. Journe watch.
