Inscription: lower left signed in the printing plate: "Dessiné par F. Piranesi L'an 1805". At the lower part inscribed in the printing plate: "Ustencilles de ménage, des anciens trouvés à Pompeia".

Date: 1805

Description: The depiction shows four antique objects from the ruins of Pompeii, carefully arranged and captured in detail in a print. In the foreground a bowl and a jug, behind it a large plate ornament and a jug, surrounded by vegetative elements that suggest historical relics.

Condition: Rather good condition. There is a full-page vertical crease in the centre. Pale staining in the margin. Pale liquid stain visible at top left and right, the paper somewhat wavy there. Several longer creases on the right margin. In the print partly visible impression of the overlying print.
