Inscription: lower left signed in the printing plate: "Dessiné et Gravé par F. Piranesi L'an 1805". At the lower part inscribed in the printing plate: "Grandes patéres à manche, et ustensiles connus sous les noms de Simpulum ou de Simpuvium, servant à puiser les liquides à Pompeia".

Condition: Defective condition. There is a full-page vertical crease in the centre, slightly deformed and rather blurred. Creased at bottom centre. In the lighter areas partly clearly rubbed due to overlying print. Pale light-staining and browning along the upper edge of the sheet. Slightly soiled along the lower left edge of the sheet.
