Inscription: At the lower part signed in the printing plate: "Dessiné par J. B. Piranesi / Gravé par F. Piranesi L'an 13/1805". At the lower part inscribed in the printing plate: "Vue de la porte de links'enceinte du Temple d'Isis [...]".

Date: 1805

Description: The meticulous etching shows a perspective interior view of a ruin with columns and frescoes. Three figures can be seen in the foreground, while architectural details and inscriptions define the space.

Condition Report: Rather good condition. There is a full-page horizontal crease in the centre. Distinctive printer's crease at lower centre margin. Some rubbing in places in the print, especially at the bottom. Pale foxing especially in the margin. Significantly browned along the lateral edges. Numerous tears along the upper left edge of the sheet. Small thinning of the paper in the upper left margin.
