Description: Inscribed lower right below the depiction "Fr. Schleicher 1842", named "Vue de Lugano". From the water, the viewers look onto a small stone bridge, which possibly spans the mouth of the river Cassarate into Lake Lugano. Behind it, numerous trees and a wooded slope can be seen, with a small house in between. In the foreground are two small wooden boats on which fishermen are depicted at work.
