F. Widmann Eaglehead Artillery Officers Sword

Circa 1830, hilt consists of eagle head pommel, ornate cast knuckle guard, bone grip, shell accented turned down quillion, full spread wing eagle on each ricassso. Undecorated 30" blade with slight curve. All brass scabbard decorated with US in wreath, spread wing eagle with motto banner and shield, foliate motifs near square drag. Overall 38.5" long. Condition: Dings to scabbard.
