This is an antique Russian Art Deco silver coffee pot by Faberge, featuring a geometric handle and a lid. The body is adorned with a floral bas-relief, while below, there's a stunning bas-relief depicting two vultures and a central stone. This is a fine Faberge item. When you touch and hold a piece of Faberge sterling, you are in contact with something truly exceptional, connecting you not only to the era of the czars but also to an even more ancient ancestry, as it is representative of all the imperial courts throughout history.
HALLMARKS: Mark 'YA' in Cyrillic for Karl Gustaf Hjalmar Armfeldt, St. Petersburg, Circa 1910 (famous FABERGE workmaster) and 'FABERGE' in Cyrillic with '84' standard to underside.

Today, prices have significantly increased compared to those of 5-10 years ago.
WARRANTY: The buyer has 5 days to inspect items for originality, valued at up to $5,000, and 10 days for items valued at $5,000 or more. Items can be returned to the seller for a refund; please refer to the Terms for more details.
NO RESERVE: More than 70% of all auctioned items have NO reserve price. Among the remaining items, there is a very reasonable reserve price set.
PAYMENT: Payment can be made with a Credit Card, Zelle, PayPal (for international bidders), Wire Transfer, Check, or Money Order. You can also suggest other methods of payment. Canadian winners can make payments to a Canadian Bank in CAD via Check, Money Order, Wire Transfer, or Interac e-Transfer.

HJALMAR ARMFELT: Karl Gustaf Hjalmar Armfelt was a Finnish silversmith and FABERGE workmaster. Born in Artjarvi, Finland 6 April 1873. In 1886, at age 13, he was apprenticed to the Finnish silversmith Paul Sohlman (1898-1904) in St.Petersburg at 42 Gorohovaya Street. He became a journeyman in 1891. He studied at the art school for five years until 1894. He worked as FABERGE's workmaster beginning in 1895, and used the mark YA in Cyrillic. Hjalmar Armfelt also worked under the silversmith Antti (Anders) Nevalainen and became his closest assistant in 1901. He became a master in 1904 and was given the exclusive opportunity to buy the workshop of Johan Victor Aarne. Armfelt produced objects for FABERGE until 1916, working on projects like those of Johan Viktor Aarne, like tiny gem-set frames, silver-mounted birchwood frames, hardstone frames, gem-set enameled gold articles and silver figures on hardstone base.
