FABLE Artist: Roanna Wells “Now you see that even a mouse can help a lion.” Inspired by Aesop’s fable ‘The Lion and the Mouse’ this design sees artist Roanna Wells use mark making to create a glistening design of vivid white and shiny gold. This pattern shows the lion stepping free of the net that once trapped her… thanks to her little mouse friend, who can now be found hitching a ride on her back. This tale of unexpected kinship reminds us that no one is too big to ask for help, or too small to make a difference.
