Built in 1896 this rather special 1st Model Single Shot aka Model of 1891 is one of only a very small handful in an original factory Moroccan leather display case with chamois interior. The gun is all original and is equipped with a 10? barrel, original nickel finish, checkered two screw black rubber extension target stocks. The condition is supremely fine, with the gun retaining virtually 99% of the original unpolished, bright and clear nickel finish. There are a few tiny handling marks and light aging here and there. The black rubber grips are in mint condition. The original factory case shows some wear to the exterior leather, while the interior is in near mint condition with just a little roughage by the front sight and rear sight assembly. The gun is all numbers matching including the barrel and target latch. The bore is excellent and the mechanical working order is flawless. Overall a top shelf and investment grade Single Shot Model of 1891 that is complete in the original and incredibly rare factory Moroccan leather case. Bottom line: a must own! ANTIQUE.
