Purchased from the above by a noted civil rights activist and descended through the family to the current owner
Condition Report: Appears to be in excellent condition. Canvas is taught and pigments appear clean and rich. Does not appear to have varnish. Canvas extends around original stretcher, labels on verso have fallen off but are retained by the gallery. The signature is somewhat diluted, however we believe this is a characteristic of the medium.
