FALLSCHIRMJAGER GRAVITY KNIFE
Luftwaffe paratrooper knife with unmarked 4 in. blade, wood grip and locking lever. These knives used a gravity-propelled locking blade and were issued to German flight crews and paratroopers, primarily for cutting tangled shroud lines. Though not intended for use as a fighting knife, these knives could be and were used in close combat weapon when necessary. Shows appropriate wear, but mechanism and the sliding operation of the blade is perfect and blade remarkably clean.
