FALLSCHIRMJAGER GRAVITY KNIVES (2)
Two Luftwaffe paratrooper knives with unmarked 4 in. blade, wood grip and locking lever. These knives used a gravity-propelled locking blade and were issued to German flight crews and paratroopers, primarily for cutting tangled shroud lines. Though not intended for use as a fighting knife, these knives could be and were used in close combat weapon when necessary. Neither in working order: one knife's blade will not release, and the other blade will not catch when released. In need of repair. Great for reconstruction or restoration!
