In-folio (35 x 50 cm) with XXXVII bifolium plates (66 cm wide) with magnificent photographs and genealogical drawings of this noble and ancient Italian family. Some coats of arms in colour. It describes thousands of names and Italian palaces. A work very well researched and of great scientific value.
This copy has an elaborate royal super-livros (11 cm high) in blue chagrin, all gilt on the front cover and spine. The spine shows defects in its connection with the boards. The front board is engraved with two inset frames, the inner one with the knots of Savoy and with 4 corners monogrammed with the letters V.E. with a royal crown, perfectly identifying the Italian monarch. Endpapers made of blue and gold marbled paper, to match the marvellous leather cover.
Very rare copy, this one being unique since it came from the private library of the Emperor and King of Italy Vittorio Emanuel III. A work doubtless offered to His Majesty by the author. Provenance from the private library of the Kings of Italy.

Quelques blasons en couleur. Décrit des milliers de noms et de palais italiens. Ouvrage très bien recherché et de grande valeur scientifique.
Cet exemplaire possède un imposant super-livros royal (11 cm de hauteur) en chagrin bleu, entièrement doré sur le plat supérieur et le dos. Le dos présente des défauts dans la liaison avec les plats. Le plat supérieur est gravé de deux encadrements en relief, l’intérieur avec les nœuds de Savoie et avec 4 angles monogrammés des lettres V.E. avec couronne royale, identifiant parfaitement le monarque italien. Feuillets de garde en papier marbré bleu et or, pour s’accorder avec la merveilleuse couverture en peau.
Exemplaire très rare, celui-ci étant unique puisqu’il provient de la bibliothèque privée de l’Empereur et Roi d’Italie Vittorio Emanuel III. Ouvrage sans doute offert à Sa Majesté par l’auteur. Provenance de la bibliothèque privée des Rois d’Italie.

本册装有一枚华丽的王室 super-livros（高 11 厘米），为蓝色鱼皮装订，前封与书脊均以黄金压饰。书脊与封板的连接处有缺陷。前封板上压刻有两重方框，内 框饰有萨伏依之结，四角则以字母 V.E. 的组合字母加王冠装饰，清楚表明是这位意大利君主。环衬采用蓝金相间的羊皮纸花纹大理石纸，与这件华美的皮 质书衣相映成趣。
此本极为罕见，并且独一无二，因为它曾属于意大利皇帝兼国王 Vittorio Emanuel III 的私人藏书。此书想必是作者敬献给陛下之作。来源出自意大利国王的私人图书馆。
