Famille rose snuff bottle, figure decor, late 19th century, porcelain, hollow carving, China, Qianlong brand.
One panel from the Snuff Bottle shows a resting scholar, behind him a serving child, and on the other panel is a poem. Other parts of the snuff bottle are also decorated with bats, antiques and longevity patterns, all of which have auspicious meaning.
