FANG, Gabon. Ngontang" balm mask with a white face coated with kaolin. Thin, parallel lines of scars adorn the cheeks and forehead. The superciliary arches are also engraved. A tuft of feathers dresses the top of the helmet planted in a raffia bead. Light wood with a light patina.
