FANTASTIC MODEL OF THE DEWITT CLINTON | An exquisite static model built for a 1932 Popular Mechanics competition in which contestants entered their scratch built Dewitt Clinton train set, the top prize was $1,000 and a week trip to NYC via the New York Central Railroad's 20th Century Limited. The set has many elaborate features, such as, fabric curtains, leaf springs, brake levers and shoes, all metal and wood construction.
