Condition Report:
This four part work is in fair condition and would benefit from restoration. The top left panel has cracking of the vellum from the right top corner and down the right side. There are small patches of missing vellum and fine cracking throughout. Furthermore, some stains can be seen throughout this panel. The top right panel shows similar chipping of the vellum as well as craquelure throughout. Again, the right edge of this canvas shows more of this concentrated loss of vellum - which are also more clearly apparent on the corners of each panel. Any apparent discolouration is inherent and in line with the choice of medium. The lower left side panel has similar loss to the vellum, also concentrated on the corners. Upon close inspection there is craquelure to the vellum, particularly in the right bottom corner. The lower right panel has craquelure in the top right corner, visible upon close inspection. There is a chip to the vellum on the top middle section of the panel. Furthermore, paint loss can be seen in the bottom left curved stripe. No signs of restoration under UV light.
