First edition of this poem by Pierre Seghers, illustrated with 7 large original color lithographs by the Greek painter Alékos FASIANÓS (born in 1935). Limited edition of 120 numbered copies on Arches vellum paper, plus a few copies reserved for collaborators, signed by the author and the artist. A proof copy, unnumbered but bearing the autograph signatures of Seghers and Fasianós opposite the title page. It comes from the collection of Pierre Jean Mathan, who oversaw the letterpress printing of the work. The copy is in very good condition. Provenance: Pierre Jean Mathan Collection.
