FB Mondial - Piega SP1 - Goodwood Award Winner - 999 cc - 2003

[ translate ]

In 1999 Robert Ziletti bought the naming rights to FB Mondial and was allowed to use the powerful V2 engine from Honda in his own design. As a former importer, we have a special relationship with this vehicle. The Piega was sold to a Munich customer in 2003. In 2004, we were invited by the Earl of March to his legendary "Goodwood Festival of Speed Hillclimbing". Unfortunately we did not have any Piega in stock at the time and were given this Piega by our customer. With this vehicle, our boss Tommy Wagner won the Dunhill Award "The Goodwood Choice for Most Impressive motorcycle", whereupon he was personally honoured by Sir John Surtess (Formula 1 and motorcycle world champion) . (Video available.) As a thank you to the customer, we completely converted the Mondial to carbon. For reasons of age, our customer is now parting with it, and we are very happy to market this historically valuable vehicle. The Mondial is in excellent condition and fully functional. It has normal signs of wear. The original silver cladding is no longer present. How many Mondials were built in this version can unfortunately no longer be determined today. We know only this one.
