The researcher Spinosa places this important sketch at the end of the 1980s in Fischetti's peak period when the artist won the favor of the local nobility and the court of Ferdinand IV for his excellent gifts as a set designer to paint al fresco in villas and palaces. This sketch is the preparatory to the definitive fresco preserved on the ceiling of the Caracciolo Palace in Torella, a monumental palazzo located in the central Chiaia neighborhood of Naples.
