Important Early 19th c. American Inlaid Mahogany Fitted Rectangular Liquor Box on Stand, with eleven blown, gilt and floral etched decorated glass decanters (one a replacement, others original), one drinking glass and two small stoppered bottles, having bronze lion head side handles with drop rings, satinwood front, top and end panels, the lid inlaid with oval conch shell panel, the front with oval flame grain mahogany panel, mother-of-pearl lock escutcheon with key, with early wallpaper lined lid, set on a period square tapered leg stand, Baltimore or surrounding area, chest: 13" high, 19 1/4" x 13", stand: 9 1/4" high, 19 5/8" x 13 1/8", decanters: six large - 10" high, one replacement - 9" high, four small - 5" high. One large has side chip, one small decanter has a break and crack in the base.
