FEDERAL STYLE MAHOGANY CARLTON DESK C. 1900 H 36" W 42" D 22" Satinwood inlay. Five drawers under writing surface.
Condition Report: The desk has some very light scratches from use, ( not noticeable unless you are looking for them). The top left drawer, under the desktop, has two professional veneer repairs, Each approx. 1/2" in size. At the bottom right and left sides of the kneehole corners, there are noticeable scuffs and chips to the wood. This was most likely caused by a chair bumping up against them over the years. At the top right front edge of the back shelf, there is a cigarette burn approx. 1/2" in size. The interior top edge of one drawer is stamped, "A. A. Grey Co. Detroit, Mich."
