Rare édition originale de cette réunion de livres artisanaux. On y trouve les séries : Avions (1968), Genoux (1969), Familles (1970), Deux jeunes filles (1970), Manteau (1970), Chaussures (1971), Montagnes (1971), Nuages (1971), Joueurs de football (1971), et Pyramide (1971). « Of all collections in this vein -and it is a popular genre of artists’ books- Feldmann’s are the most deadpan, the least expressive. We are asked to look at them simply as Bilder, as pictures- pictures of anything, it doesn’t matter, they could even be a flat overall grey or black and serve Feldmann’s purpose. We demand all sorts of things from photographic images, which all too often give us little except reflections of ourselves. In the Bilder books, Feldmann is essentially saying that all photographers are mirrors, and only tell us what we want to know ». Parr-Badger, II, pp. 158-161.
