We even used gold glitter. FEMM is an Amsterdam-based artist creating bold, playful abstract art out of predominantly paper. She is inherently fascinated by the immediate beauty and power of color. She ‘builds up’ her paper collages by adding layer onto layer, just like a painter would do with paint, hereby creating tangible ‘landscapes of paper’. FEMM decided to collaborate with the best screen printer in Amsterdam to recreate one of her most popular paper collages named VOLCA into a handmade screen print. With ‘VOLCA’, FEMM translated the awe and excitement she feels when gazing at ‘la luna’ into a bold and magical graphic composition. By mixing bright colorful elements with a luminescent gold, FEMM created a abstract composition that's vaguely reminiscent of a magical urban nightscape. *SOLD WITHOUT FRAME Shipped in a cardboard tube. 60 x 80 cm
