FERDINAND PAUTROT (FRENCH, 1832-74), BRONZE PARTRIDGE 19TH C., H 15", DIA 8" Signed "F. Pautrot". at base. Early sand cast with exquisite detail. Reddish-brown patina. Pautrot - noted French sculptor who exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1861-1870.
Condition Report: Very fine early sand casting. Left-wing and one sprig of brush were cast separately from the main sculpture and the casting seam for the left-wing is visible.
