This listing offers a Beautiful Victorian Air Trap Mother of Pearl Glass Bowl in a Victorian Hartford Silver Plate Bride's Basket with a Kate Greenaway Girl on the side of the bowl. The blue color is cased in white. I believe this pattern is "Moire" or This listing offers a Beautiful Victorian Air Trap Mother of Pearl Glass Bowl in a Victorian Hartford Silver Plate Bride's Basket with a Kate Greenaway Girl on the side of the bowl. The blue color is cased in white. I believe this pattern is "Moire" or "MAIZE" The bowl measures 3 1/4" high, 9 1/2" across at the top and about 5" at the base. The bottom has a ground and polished pontil. I have included a photo of the bowl sitting in a silverplated frame. It does NOT fit the stand properly this is a tough stand to find the proper bowl. The bowl is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs . There is a small bubble on the interior of the bowl (see picture #11) and a bit of ash on the side--neither is noticeable but please note they are there. The sliver plate holder has a leaf and fruit design with the Kate Greenaway little girl sitting in the branches. The sliver plating appears to be in good condition but could use a good cleaning (I'm leaving that up to its new owner). It has the Hartford Silverplate Mfg Co. Quadruple plate mark on the bottom. The bowl is a little smaller than the base ~ Any ! Truly a beautiful piece!
