Underglaze blue sword mark on the back of the base.

H 20 cm. Minimal restorations on the handle of the net and on one fish.

Provenance:- Christie's Geneva, 30 May 1975, Lot No. 875.- from a private collection, Germany.According to the information in Kaendler's Taxa from 1740-48, this figure is the counter part to the fisher woman, see Lot No. 1083.
