FINE 1942 MFG SPRINGFIELD M1 GARAND RIFLE

SERIAL NUMBER 909777BARREL 24" CALIBER 30-06 SPRINGFIELD MANUFACTURED 1942. Produced in 1942 by Springfield Arsenal for WW2 issue. Walnut stocks with proper "EMcF" cartouche, SA 10-42 dated barrel, un-cut SA operating rod, all early internal parts by Springfield and locking bar rear sight. Single slot gas plug, proper narrow front sight and all correct Springfield early Milled trigger group assembly. A very fine early WW2 specimen. CONDITION. Very good with fine bore and excellent walnut stock set. Finish has typical thinning on exterior of barrel from use and small bruises and impressions in stock from period use. Action operates properly. C&R
