FINE AND RARE CHIPPENDALE FIGURED MAPLE SPICE CHEST, PENNSYLVANIA, CIRCA 1765

Height 21 in. by Width 16 ¾ in. by Depth 11 ¼ in.

Condition Report:
Hinges replaced. Lacking vertical glue blocks. Proper left front foot glue blocks replaced. Proper left rear glue block replaced. Lacking proper right front side glue block. Minor age cracks to case. Top with wear and abrasion caused by water. Door with slight warp and lacking lock. Proper right side of back board with shrinkage crack. Secondary wood: poplar and Atlantic white cedar.
