The fossil is a polished tile of the Early Devonian sea floor, 400 million years old.
It is full of Ammonites which filled the oceans 400 million years ago
it is mounted in clear acrylic, and the colour of the tile is a warm brown.
As can be seen in the photographs, the wall colour is visible through the acrylic.
Size: Tile 21 cm x 15 cm and Acrylic Plate 41 cm x 35 cm & 2 cm thick.
