Fine silver civil-war era Waltham (A.T. & Co) Appleton, Tracy & Co. grade, private label engine-turned hunting cased pocket watch for J.W. Tucker & Co., San Francisco, California. The watch is paired with beautiful unmarked silver linked watch chain with the proper key as well. Chain length measures 14-1/2". Case diameter measures 55mm. Movement serial number: 80237. Circa 1863. 15j. 16s. Case marked "LFB, FINE SILVER, 7670, Z". Gross weight (watch, chain and key) is 219.8 grams. Faint hairlines to dial. Watch presents quite well with a lovely uncleaned patina. The winding key hole appears to have been relocated on the cuvette. Currently running. Condition: (Very Good-Excellent).
