Wood: Mahogany
Fingerboard: Rosewood set on the through neck body using mahogany.

PLEASE NOTE: Nice, straight neck. Bright, clean original finish. Minor corrosion to the metal parts, no major dings or scratches. 9 out of 10 Amazing condition!

Fret board: Rosewood w/th mother of pearl inlay.

Condition: Very Good to excellent: A-

Pots marked: 1377624, and 70-035, Firebird Red, White, and Blue decal original. 99.5%

Lot Note(s): Nothing really sounds like a firebird. The pickups have a quality that combines humbucker-like output and single coil clarity, a sparkle and bite that just cuts through. The guitar balances surprisingly well and after a few minutes you?ll wonder why you hadn?t played one before. The Firebird logo imitating the Stars and Stripes, which is also a characteristic of this model.

Circulation Data: There were 2,847 Gibson Firebird Bicentennials made between 1976 and 1979. 1,277 were finished in ebony black, 1,254 in natural, 199 in tobacco sunburst and 117 in white. Of the ebony models, only 222 were made in 1976.

Serial number is stamped on the back of the headstock: 00 230 473 Limited Edition. Only 199 were ever made in this color.
