FIRST DRY PRINT - c. 1925–30

Signed “CELLO” (attributed to Marcel Juseret)

Rare original lithographed advertising card. 32 x 23 cm. “JLG - 50, rue Daguerre - Paris”

A very fine example—
with remarkably fresh and vibrant colors, having retained all of its original luster and brilliance.
There are minute, barely perceptible signs of age and very slight wear on the lower left corner.
Overall, the piece remains in remarkable condition.

This Art Deco creation in blue, white, and red stands out for its modernity and dynamic design.
The artist skillfully incorporates an absinthe spoon into the scene, an evocative nod to the famous “Green Fairy.”

Founded in 1829 in Romans-sur-Isère by François Premier, the family-owned liqueur house made a name for itself by producing absinthe specialties under the “Premier Fils” brand, created by his son Louis Philippe.
After absinthe was banned in 1915, the distillery shifted its focus to the production of anise-flavored liqueurs.
In 1923, Édouard Premier created the “Anis Premier” brand.
