Collection of four autobiographies by two first ladies, includes: ROSLYNN CARTER ‘First Lady from Plains' (Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company), 1984. 370pp. white boards with gold lettering, dust jacket included. Inscribed and signed on the first flyleaf in black ink. Together with LADY BIRD JOHNSON, three copies of her autobiography ‘A White House Diary' (New York: Holt, Rinehart and Winston), 1970. 806pp. 8vo., white and green cloth with gold lettering, dust jacket included, all bearing a signed bookplate on the first flyleaf. Two of these copies are first editions, one of which displays some tears to the dustjacket. Four pieces, overall very good.
