FIVE CREAMY-WHITE-GLAZED VESSELS, QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

The first, a small 'garlic-head' vase, is carved around the body with scrolling lingzhi; the second and the third, two soft-paste cups each carved on the exterior with a continuous band of archaistic taotie masks; the fourth, a crackle-glazed pear-shaped vase, is flanked on the neck by a pair of elephant-head-form handles suspending loose rings; the fifth, a moon flask, is molded on either side with bats and clouds, and flanked on the shoulder by a pair of stylized scroll handles.
