FIVE GLAZED ARTICLES, MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)

The first, a turquoise-glazed tripod censer, is molded with flower heads on the compressed body below a wave band on the waisted neck; the second and the third, a pair of green-glazed pottery figures, of attendants each shown standing on a rectangular base and wearing a long robe and a tall cap; the fourth and the fifth, a pair of small 'chrysanthemum' dishes, are covered overall with a turquoise glaze; together with a Jun-type jar applied on the shoulders with a pair of lug handles, covered overall with an iridescent pale-blue glaze, Yuan dynasty (1279-1368).
