One hundred views of Mount Fuji (Fugaku Hyakkei), is a series of three illustrated books by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai(1760-1849). The first two volumes were published in 1834 and 1835, shortlyafter completion of his seminal Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji, with a third released in the late 1840s. Here is a set of five leaves of the book folio. The painted views are larged rooted from the reality while Hokusai was exploring theartistic and spiritual experience during the creative process. W. 15.5 cm (6 1/8 in.); L. 22.3 cm (8 3/4 in.)
