Arabic manuscripts on paper, each volume with 30-40 leaves, incomplete, five lines per page written in large muhaqqaq script, verses separated with gold rosettes, illuminated fifth and tenth verses markers in margins juz' with opening double page of illumination (damaged), juz' 15 and 22 with opening single page of illumination (damaged), several replacement folios of European watermarked paper, contemporary stamped and tooled brown leather bindings, with flaps

40 by 30cm. approx.

Condition Report:
Incomplete. Significant damage to many folios, mostly repaired with European paper. Frayed at edges. Many folios loose or detached. Opening illumination fragmentary and damaged. Tenth verse markers overpainted. As viewed.
